Scott McIntosh

Scott McIntosh is an accomplished professional in the reinsurance sector with extensive experience spanning over 30 years. Currently serving as Group Reinsurance Director at Aviva since May 2011, Scott oversees all aspects of reinsurance, including placement and strategic development. Prior roles include Director and Head of SRIS at Swiss Re, where Scott led underwriting for bespoke reinsurance transactions, and CEO of Irish operations at Swiss Re. Furthermore, Scott has held leadership positions at General Electric Insurance Solutions, where Scott managed global business units, and earlier at GE Capital, establishing risk management functions. Scott's educational background includes a BA in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder, an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Illinois, and Executive Education in Organizational Leadership from the University of Oxford.
