Tanya Cahill

Tanya Cahill is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and reporting, currently serving as the Head of IFRS Consolidation and Non-Financial Reporting Centre of Excellence at Aviva since March 2015. In this role, Tanya leads and manages the finance team, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting for executive management and the board of directors, while also overseeing audit processes and driving process improvements. Prior to this, Tanya held various financial management roles at Aviva from 2005 to 2015, including Senior Finance Manager, where responsibilities encompassed annual financial statements, regulatory reporting, and internal controls. Tanya began the career in the finance sector with roles in forensic accounting, management accounting, and auditing, following academic qualifications in accounting from Rand Afrikaans University and professional membership with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
