Tim Dalby-Welsh

Tim Dalby-Welsh, FInstLM, MBCI, holds extensive experience in governance, control, and assurance, currently serving as the Head of Governance, Control and Assurance at Aviva. Tim has previously held roles such as Operational Resilience Governance, Control and Oversight Lead and Operational Resilience, Recovery and Crisis Management at the same organization. Prior to joining Aviva, Tim worked as a Senior Consultant at Needhams 1834 and as a Consultant at Thalion Group, along with a placement as Project Officer at Rescue Global. Tim's background also includes leadership roles within the British Army, including Directing Staff at The Defence Academy of the UK, Brigade Reconnaissance Squadron Leader for The Light Dragoons, and Intelligence and Surveillance Officer at Headquarters 19 Light Brigade. Tim's educational credentials include completing the Intermediate Command and Staff Course (Land) at UK Defence Academy from 2008 to 2009 and graduating from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 2000.
