Vinny Patel

Vinny Patel is a highly experienced finance professional with a robust background in accounting and auditing, currently serving as Senior Finance Manager for Group External Reporting at Aviva since March 2016. Vinny has been instrumental in providing technical accounting advice, managing M&A transactions, and implementing IFRS developments, including IFRS 9 for non-insurance entities. Before joining Aviva, extensive experience was gained at EY, where Vinny managed international audits for major insurance clients, showcasing expertise in IFRS and UK GAAP. Vinny's career began at the Royal Bank of Scotland Group, where foundational customer service skills were developed.
