Aaron Shaffer

Aaron Shaffer is a seasoned digital communications and social media manager with a wealth of experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently at Avivo since February 2017, Aaron leads digital strategies as a social media strategist, videographer, and relationship builder while managing all facets of the organization's digital presence, including paid advertising and website oversight. Previous roles include social media and digital media coordinator at Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota and volunteer contributions to the Midtown Greenway Coalition. Aaron began a career in broadcast meteorology, holding positions at Sinclair Broadcast Group, KDLT Television, and others, where an aptitude for storytelling through multimedia emerged. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
