Kristen Bewley is an experienced professional in the mental health and substance use treatment fields, currently serving as the Service Area Director at Avivo since March 2023. Kristen provides leadership for Integrated substance use disorder treatment for diverse populations, including women, men, and families. Prior to this role, Kristen held various positions at Avivo from March 2009 to April 2023, including Program Director and Child and Family Development Coordinator, focusing on nurturing environments for mothers and coordinating child and family development services. Kristen's early experience includes working as a Pre-Adolescent Therapist at LifeSpan in a day treatment program for children with developmental and behavioral challenges. Kristen holds a BA in Psychology from the College of Saint Benedict, a Masters in Counseling from the University of North Dakota, and a Graduate Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary's University.
