Mette McLoughlin is an experienced Human Resources professional currently serving as Vice President of Human Resources at Avivo since March 2020, where responsibilities include advancing organizational performance and culture. Prior to this role, Mette operated as a strategic HR consultant and coach from June 2019 to March 2020, focusing on talent management and leadership support. Mette’s tenure at American Public Media from March 2005 to August 2018 included positions as SVP of Human Resources, Director of Culture & Engagement, and Senior HR Consultant, leading initiatives that shaped organizational culture and employee engagement across a diverse workforce. Earlier experience includes managerial roles in compensation and benefits at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation and Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota. Mette is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, having earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Business from the University of South Dakota.
