Baktash Hamzehloo

Baktash Hamzehloo is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in the aerospace sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Aviya Aerospace Systems since May 2007, Baktash oversees a team of over 100 engineers focused on systems engineering, including Controls, Modeling, Simulation, and CFD. Prior to this role, Baktash held the position of Director of System Engineering at Pratt & Whitney Canada, where responsibilities included designing engine electronic controllers. Earlier experience includes serving as Service and Maintenance Manager at KCC, managing mechanical engineering tasks related to heavy equipment and leading a team of 18. Baktash holds a Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Concordia University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology.
