Jerry Yu

Jerry Yu is a Software Engineer at Aviya Aerospace Systems since October 2017, specializing in requirement-based design, Hardware-Software integration testing, and the development of embedded software solutions within avionic projects. Their expertise includes designing Embedded Board Support Packages following DO-178C standards, developing real-time C programs, and automating tasks using scripting languages. Prior experience includes an Engineering and Applied Science Internship at Ontario Power Generation, where Jerry assisted in addressing parts obsolescence and preparing engineering change packages, and a role as a Computer Technician at Roger’s Computer Technology Inc., where Jerry managed PC repairs and network solutions. Jerry also served as a Research Assistant at Ryerson University, contributing to data analysis and concept design, and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Ryerson University.
