Chidambaram B has over 18 years of experience in the software engineering industry. In 2021, they became the Co-Founder, CTO, and Engineering Head of Aviz Networks. From 2019 to 2021, they were an Engineering Lead and Network Telemetry at Amazon Web Services (AWS). At AWS, they were responsible for developing cost effective, scalable and real-time telemetry services to improve network availability, proactively detect failures, and improve performance of AWS network infrastructure. From 2014 to 2019, they were a Software Architect at Lenovo, where they led a team of engineers in the US to evaluate and enable SONiC on Lenovo data center switches. Chidambaram also led a global team of 20+ engineers to develop the next generation NOS (C-NOS) for 10/25/40/100G switches and integrated solutions with Lenovo SystemX BU. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Software Architect and SDN at IBM, where they led a WW team across US, China, and India to build IBM's first breakthrough product for SDN solution using commodity ASICs and Openflow. Chidambaram was also responsible for defining the technical solution architecture for Lenovo ThinkAgile product line for HCI. From 2007 to 2011, they were a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead at Blade Network Technologies, where they were responsible for developing the next generation NOS for Blade 1/10 gigabit ethernet switches. Chidambaram also led a team of 15+ engineers offshore in developing features for critical customer requirements, integration, and successful delivery of products. From 2003 to 2007, they were a Software Engineer at Aricent Group (FutureSoft), where they were responsible for the design and development of multicast routing and switching protocol stack on switches using commodity ASICs. Chidambaram also re-architected the OS architecture for Aricent (FutureSoft) ISS to use linux TCP/IP stack improving performance, scale, and portability across hardware platforms.
Chidambaram B received a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Tirunelveli in 2003. Prior to that, they attended Kendriya Vidyalaya. No additional certifications are listed.
