Avkor is an independent engineering services and consulting firm. Semiconductor product and process is our core; the wider high-tech industry is our range.

We take on complex engineering work: industrialization, technical product documentation, supplier quality, engineering changes, field-issue resolution and PLM/ERP master data migrations. Problems that cross teams, tools, suppliers, and locations.

Every engagement is led by a principal engineer. The person you meet runs the work, signs every deliverable as named author, and is accountable for the result. Our principals are involved from the first week, when assumptions are made and hidden constraints are found — not just at review gates.

We are small on purpose, and manufacturing-independent by design. No factory, no parts catalog, no supplier commissions. Our judgment is the product.

How we work: scope agreed within a week; hand calculations and domain knowledge before tools; every document reviewed by a second named senior; weekly progress notes. No surprises at the end of a program.

Our engineers bring 15+ years of experience on average, ten of them inside the semiconductor industry, working with global leaders in semiconductor equipment and their supplier ecosystem. We serve customers in the Bay Area, Eindhoven, Beijing, and Tainan.

Headquartered in Porto, Portugal — a working day that overlaps with California, Europe, and Asia. Our Tainan office opens in 2026, with local engineers working in Mandarin and English.

We grow with our clients' growth.
