Dirk Geyer, currently the Head of Segment Safety & Security at AVL Software and Functions GmbH, has a strong background in the development of safety mechanisms for engine control units. Prior to their current role, Dirk served as a Team Lead Manager for Functional Safety at Continental for a decade. With experience as a Project Manager in sensor development at Alcatel, and a background as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Technische Universität Ilmenau, Dirk Geyer brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in HW and SW development for various technical applications. Dirk holds a degree as a Diplom-Ingenieur in Maschinenbau from Technische Universität Ilmenau.
