José Ignacio Chiang Velásquez

José Ignacio Chiang Velásquez is an experienced product manager currently leading the development of the Property & Casualty insurance line at AVLA since April 2023. Previously, at Belcorp from August 2019 to April 2023, José held various roles including Growth & Experimentation Product Owner, where direction was provided for the Experimentation & Growth strategy for the “Unete” Project, and Digital Product Owner, overseeing a mobile application for a salesforce across 12 Latin American countries and further developing the “Unete” website. Early career experiences include a Commercial Strategy Intern role at Belcorp, monitoring digital tool usage across 11 countries, and a Corporate Internal Audit Intern role that involved risk assessment for 13 countries. José holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Lima and completed a semester abroad in Business Administration at Universidad CEU San Pablo.
