Alexey Moseyev

Alexey Moseyev is the CEO of AVM Consulting, a database administration and design firm. Alexey has over fifteen years of experience in the field, having worked as a Senior Oracle DBA for Weyerhaeuser and eHarmony.com. Alexey also spent nine years at Oracle as a Principal Data Architect. In this role, they were responsible for the design and implementation of Oracle databases for mission critical applications. Alexey is an expert in performance tuning, data migration, and hardware planning for large scale databases. Alexey has also done extensive work in DR and HA solutions, RAC, dNFS, DataGuard, GoldenGate, and puppet. In recent years, they have focused on automating database administration tasks to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Alexey Moseyev has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Vyatka State University. Alexey is also certified by Oracle as an Oracle 12c DBA Certified Professional (OCP), MongoDB Certified DBA, Cloudera Certified Administrator for Apache Hadoop (CCAH), Oracle 11g DBA Certified Professional (OCP), Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC) Certified Expert 10.2, Oracle 10g DBA Certified Professional (OCP), Oracle 9i DBA Certified Professional (OCP), and Oracle 9i Certified Developer. In addition, they have an Oracle Infrastructure as a Service Certified Implementation Specialist certification.
