Jeff Hippler has over three decades of experience in the chemical engineering field, with a focus on process development and commercialization. Currently serving as a Corporate Fellow at AVN Corp. since December 2013, Jeff previously held significant roles such as Senior Director of Process Development and Site Manager at Aurora Algae, Inc., where responsibilities included the commercialization of algae-based products. At The Dow Chemical Co., Jeff was a Technical Leader, overseeing budgeting and strategic planning, and earlier at Union Carbide Corporation, held positions from Principal Engineer to Senior Engineer, contributing to combinatorial chemistry projects and process safety assessments. Jeff earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
