Nicolas Raffaele is a Chemical Engineering Intern at AVN Corp. since May 2023, where responsibilities include designing a pilot-scale process for dimethyl malonate production and translating laboratory results to industrial applications. Previously, Nicolas has been an Undergraduate Researcher at The Ohio State University, focusing on synthesizing zeolites and developing post-synthetic treatments to enhance catalytic activity. Additionally, Nicolas served as a Teaching Assistant for Transport Phenomena I, supporting students in understanding momentum transfer. Earlier experience as a Carpenter Assistant at Frank Raffaele & Sons Custom Carpentry contributed to technical skills in woodworking and material management. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at The Ohio State University, expected to graduate in May 2024.
