Raymond Rooks serves as an Adjunct Professor at Virginia Tech's Department of Chemical Engineering since October 2023, focusing on the development of senior design projects with students. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Research Associate at The Dow Chemical Company from February 2001 to April 2006 and as a Senior Research Engineer at both Union Carbide from June 1998 to February 2001 and Simsci from 1997 to 1998. Raymond Rooks earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
