Daniel Hammond

Daniel Hammond is an experienced music educator and operations manager, currently serving as a General Music Teacher at Avoca School District 37 since August 2015, where responsibilities include teaching various aspects of music to middle school students. In addition, Daniel holds the position of Operations Manager at the Youth Choral Theater of Chicago since August 2019, overseeing the logistical and administrative needs of the organization. Previous roles include Director of Choirs and AP Music Theory Instructor at Johnsburg School District 12 and Director of Choirs and General Music Teacher at Peru Elementary School District 124. Daniel also taught English at Central China Normal University and worked as an Assistant Conductor for the TianKong Choir. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and Asian Studies from Augustana College and a Master of Music Education in Choral & General Music from VanderCook College of Music.
