Jason Li

Jason Li has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and management. Jason started their career as a Software Developer at Shanghai BaoGang Steels Trading Co. in 1997, where they developed an Order Processing system and upgraded systems. From 1999 to 2002, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Highway Technology Development, Ltd. In 2003, they joined dialersoft.com as a Senior Software Developer for a brief period.

Later in 2003, they joined TP Systems Ltd, where they initially worked as a Senior Software Developer/Team Lead, designing and developing a web-based Security Management system and spearheading the development of Microsoft endorsed Web Services. From 2006 to 2014, they held the position of Software Development Manager at TP Systems Ltd, overseeing the development of N-tier and database-driven web solutions and supervising the training and development of software engineer staff.

Since 2014, Jason Li has been working at Avocette Technologies Inc., starting as the Architects & Development Director and currently serving as the VP, Technology Delivery Centre. In this role, they guide technical teams in application architecture and development policies, ensures appropriate staffing and training, and provides advice on software development trends and design options.

Jason Li has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University (CN), which they obtained in 1995. Jason also has a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university, which they obtained from 1995 to 1997.

In terms of certifications, they have obtained various certifications over the years. Some notable certifications include MCSD: Web Applications and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft, both obtained in 2013. Jason also holds certifications from Salesforce and Prosci.

In addition to their formal education and certifications, Jason Li has pursued various training workshops and programs related to project management, leadership, communication, and conflict management. These include programs from institutions such as Toastmasters International, People Insights, Inc., and the British Columbia Institute of Technology.

Lastly, they hold various certifications from Microsoft Corporation related to software development and database administration, obtained from 2000 to 2019.
