Kate Bowden

Kate Bowden, CFA has a significant amount of experience in risk management and credit analysis. Kate worked as a Vice President of Risk at Avolon, where they were responsible for overseeing risk-related activities. Prior to that, they served as a Credit Analyst at Helaba, where they managed and expanded a portfolio of aviation transactions. Their duties included financial analysis, asset evaluation, cash flow modeling, pricing, transaction structuring, and negotiation of legal documentation. Before working at Helaba, Kate worked as a Credit Analyst at Banca Intesa, where they conducted credit analysis on a diverse range of international loans and bonds, with experience in corporates, financial institutions, aircraft financing, project finance, and asset-backed securities.

Kate Bowden, CFA has a diverse education history. In 1992, they completed their secondary education at Alexandra College Dublin. In 1998, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from University College Dublin. Following that, in 2003-2004, they pursued a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Studies from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, also located at University College Dublin. Kate Bowden later became a Charterholder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, which they obtained from the CFA Institute between 2006 and 2008. Most recently, in 2018-2020, they attended INSEAD, where they completed an Accelerated Leadership Programme.
