Cosmas Claussen

Cosmas Claussen has a diverse work experience in supply chain management and procurement. Cosmas is currently working as the Head of Global Indirect Procurement at Avolta. Prior to this, they held various roles at Autogrill, including Director of Supply Chain & Procurement Europe and Director of Procurement Rest of Europe. Before Autogrill, they served as the Director of SCM Region Central Europe at gategroup and as the Director of Supply Chain Management Switzerland at Gate Gourmet Switzerland GmbH. Cosmas also worked at Markant Gruppe as the Procurement Food / Near Food Switzerland and at Autogrill Schweiz AG as the Supply Chain Manager. Claussen began their career at HMSHost International as the Deputy Procurement, Logistics, F&B Manager.

Cosmas Claussen completed a Master of Science in Business Administration (M.Sc.) degree at the University of Wales, Cardiff from 2009 to 2010. Cosmas also obtained a Einkaufsfachmann mit eidg. Fachausweis degree from SVME (since 2011: procure.ch) from 2007 to 2008. In 2009, they received certification as a Zertifizierter Category Manager ECR D-A-CH from SIU Schweizerisches Institut für Unternehmerschulung. Currently, they serve as a Lecturer in Supply Chain Management / Procurement at ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences.
