James Burke

James Burke currently serves as President & CEO of Shore United Bank and Director at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, both positions held since July 2023. Prior to these roles, James Burke was President of Community Bank of the Chesapeake from December 2005 to July 2023 and held the position of Executive Vice President - Senior Loan Officer at Mercantile Southern Maryland Bank from July 2001 to December 2005. Additional experience includes serving as Sales Manager - Partner at Meaney Insurance Services / Agency 1 Insurance from December 1996 to June 2001 and as Commercial Loan Officer at Bank of Southern Maryland from January 1992 to December 1996. James Burke earned a B.A. in Political Science from High Point University between 1986 and 1991.
