Manj Illangasekara

Manj Illangasekara is the current Director & CEO at AVONET. Prior to this, they worked as the IT Project Manager at City of Unley from September 2017 to March 2018. In this role, they were responsible for a range of Information Technology infrastructure and application projects, including establishing a business case, project planning, implementation, closure and post implementation support whilst identifying and managing business project risks and developing contingency plans where required. Manj also created, tracked, monitored and reviewed project costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, project resources and project issues and risks.

Manj has always been interested in technology and its potential to improve people's lives. Manj has a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of South Australia and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Adelaide. Manj is passionate about using technology to make a difference in the world and is always looking for new ways to use it to improve people's lives.
