Vivian Flores

Vivian Flores has worked in the Human Resources field since 2015. Vivian began their career as a Human Resources Generalist at Angel Staffing. In this role, they were responsible for creating job postings, screening applicants, recruiting qualified candidates, credentialing candidates, ordering background checks and drug-screens, and completing on-boarding duties to hire employees. Vivian also served as a subject matter expert on the HRIS and provided technical support to team members.

In 2019, Vivian joined Avosys Technology, Inc. as a Human Resource Manager. At Avosys, they were responsible for full cycle HR responsibilities including creating job postings, recruiting, compensation offers, credentialing, on-boarding, benefits enrollment, leave management, and employee relations.

Prior to their career in Human Resources, Vivian worked for the City of San Antonio from 1997 to 2015. In their roles at the City of San Antonio, Vivian served as a Program Manager, Senior Management Analyst, and Program Coordinator. In these roles, they were responsible for supervising personnel, interviewing, hiring, developing, evaluating, and disciplining assigned staff in accordance with city policies, ensuring fairness and consistency, and developing program activities and materials to recruit and educate physicians about the VFC Program and immunizations.

Vivian also worked as a Sales Associate at Rainbow Gardens Nursery.

Vivian Flores has a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Webster University San Antonio, TX, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
