Naina Subberwal Batra has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. Naina has served as a Board Member at the Menzies Foundation since 2023. From 2013 to 2021, they held leadership roles at the Asian Venture Philanthropy Network, including CEO and Chairperson & CEO. In 2022, they became the Chairperson of the Board at IVPC (International Venture Philanthropy Center). Naina is also a Board Member at the Global Resilient Cities Network (GRCN) and a Trustee at the Bridge Institute since 2020. Previously, they volunteered at Ummeed Child Development Centre from 2009 to 2013. Naina'searlier roles include being the Head of Human Assets at Monitor Group's MIM team and a Partner at Group Fifty Pvt Ltd, Art Curators. Naina also worked as a Director at Resource Management Technologies Pvt Ltd and a Human Resources Consultant at KPMG.

Naina Subberwal Batra completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and International Relations at Mount Holyoke College from 1988 to 1992. Naina then pursued a Diploma in Economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1990 to 1991. Naina later obtained a Master's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, which they completed from 1992 to 1994. Prior to their tertiary education, Naina attended Loreto House.
