Athena Shiravi

Athena Shiravi is an experienced investment professional currently part of the Investment Team at avra since 2025. In the same year, Athena was selected as one of 16 Accel Leadership Fellows at the Stanford Technology Ventures Program. Prior to avra, Athena served as a Venture Fellow and PFC Lead at Pear VC from 2023 to 2025, where a program was built to support emerging Persian entrepreneurs. Experience includes an Investment Summer Analyst position at Insight Partners in 2024, a Summer Analyst role at BlackRock in 2023 focused on Equity Private Markets, and a Summer Analyst position at First Republic Bank in 2022 within the FRIM-C Sand Hill group. Athena also worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence and MOTI Fellow at CodeX, The Stanford Center for Legal Informatics from 2021 to 2022, developing a public records product for residents. Athena has a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University, expected to be completed in 2025, and previously obtained a bachelor's degree from the same institution between 2020 and 2024.
