Carlo S. is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in corporate development and mergers and acquisitions within the life sciences sector. Currently serving as the VP of Corporate Development at AVS Bio since April 2025, Carlo S. previously held the position of Head of Corporate M&A at Alira Health from September 2014 to April 2025, where over 10 successful transactions were executed to enhance the company’s services and technologies. Carlo S. has also led the Global Transaction Advisory practice at Alira Health, focusing on innovative deal structures in medical devices and life sciences services. Additional experience includes managing early-stage investments at Alira Health Ventures and providing M&A advisory services at Buttignon Zotti Milan & Co. Carlo S. holds an MBA from IE Business School and a Master's in Business & Finance from the Università degli Studi di Verona.
