The Division and Group Chairs at AVS oversee their specific scientific and engineering divisions, fostering community engagement, organizing symposia and conferences, facilitating collaboration among members, and advancing research and developments in their respective fields of vacuum technology, advanced surface engineering, biomaterial interfaces, magnetic interfaces and nanostructures, nanoscale science and technology, spectroscopic ellipsometry, plasma science and technology, surface science, thin films, 2D materials, MEMS, and NEMS.
