Brett Downs possesses extensive experience in technical and emergency response roles. Currently serving as a Firefighter for Dallas County Fire Rescue since April 2018, Brett concurrently works as a Technician for AVStar Fuel Systems, Inc. since August 2017. In addition, Brett has a long-standing career with the United States Air Force since March 2006, holding the roles of Aircraft Tech Craftsman and Repair and Reclamation Craftsman, where responsibilities include performing functional flight tests, troubleshooting electrical systems, and conducting thorough inspections and repairs on aircraft, particularly F-15C/D/E models. Previous technical positions were held at Schindler Elevator Corporation and Schindler Group in mid-2017. Brett holds an Associate's degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology from the Community College of the Air Force and has pursued education at multiple institutions, including Boise State University and the University of Maryland Global Campus.
