Daniel McCarthy

Daniel McCarthy is an experienced Embedded Software Engineer at AVT Australia since May 2021, following a role as a Software Intern. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Deakin University from July 2017 to April 2020, where work focused on R&D for electrical and mechanical components and the development of VR software to integrate with hardware. Additionally, Daniel held the position of Student Ambassador during the Deakin University Open Day in 2018, engaging with prospective students and assisting in VR-Lab demonstrations. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechatronics and Robotics and a Bachelor of Information Technology in Computer Science, both from Deakin University.
