Rick Blaylock

Rick Blaylock has had a successful career as a software engineer, with experience in various companies and roles. Rick started their career at ITT Technical Institute as a CAD Instructor in 1992. Rick then became a Software Engineer at ECC in 1995 and worked there until 2003. Following that, Rick joined Cubic CSSD as a Software Engineer from 2003 to 2006. Rick then worked at Rockwell Collins as a Software Engineer from 2006 to 2010. Rick then joined Fidelity Technologies as a Software Engineer and worked there from 2010 to 2016. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at AVT Simulation, where they have been working since 2016.

Rick Blaylock completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Central Florida, where they studied from 1986 to 1991. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's Degree from Brevard Community College between 1984 and 1988. Rick also attended Astronaut High School in Titusville, FL, from 1980 to 1984. In addition to their formal education, Rick Blaylock has obtained multiple certifications, including "Computer Vision on the Raspberry Pi 4," "C++ Design Patterns: Creational," "C++: Advanced Topics," "Debugging C Code," "Learning Bash Scripting," "Learning Linux Command Line," "Secure Coding in C," and "Software Architecture: From Developer to Architect," all from LinkedIn. These certifications were obtained in August and September of 2022.
