Adeel Ahmed

Adeel Ahmed is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Head of IT at Awaed since December 2024. Prior to this role, Adeel held various leadership positions at Direct Financial Network Company from February 2015 to November 2024, including Head of Infrastructure and IT, where responsibilities included managing IT infrastructure, leading teams in network design and security, and enhancing cybersecurity compliance. Adeel also functioned as Lead Infrastructure Architect, focusing on enterprise infrastructure design, data center maintenance, business continuity planning, disaster recovery, OCI cloud management, and vendor relationships. Earlier experience includes roles as System Engineer and System Administrator at several organizations, including Euronet Pakistan (Pvt) Limited and e-Access (private) Ltd. Adeel holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Preston Institute of Management Science & Technology.
