Jiatao Chen

Jiatao Chen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in development, strategy, and operations within various sectors. Currently serving as Co-Founder and VP of Development at Awaed since January 2022, Jiatao has previously held the position of Senior Strategist at a China-based investment fund from January 2019 to January 2022, specializing in technology sectors in emerging markets. As Chief Operations Officer at Indo Digital Sukses Sejati from January 2017 to December 2018, Jiatao led product design and operations management for a leading gaming and digital tech company. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Business Development at ChinaComex Holdings Ltd., where responsibilities included managing commercial real estate projects across Europe and the Middle East, and working at the United Nations in the Department of Public Information, overseeing digital communication strategies. Jiatao holds an MBA in Finance from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Washington.
