Jonatan Wiik

Jonatan Wiik has several years of work experience in software engineering and research. Jonatan is currently working as a Senior Algorithms Engineer at Awake.AI since August 2019. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Kongsberg Maritime from April 2019 to August 2019. Jonatan also worked as a Software Engineer at Rolls-Royce from February 2018 to March 2019. Prior to these roles, Jonatan worked as a Software Designer at Wapice Ltd from May 2012 to December 2012. Jonatan also gained experience as a Research Assistant at Åbo Akademi University from February 2011 to April 2012, from April 2010 to August 2010, and from June 2009 to December 2009. Jonatan is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in software engineering at Åbo Akademi University, with a focus on formal verification and analysis of software systems, particularly in dataflow programs.

Jonatan Wiik completed their Bachelor of Science (Technology) in Computer Engineering at Åbo Akademi University from 2007 to 2010. Jonatan then pursued their Master of Science (Technology) in Computer Engineering at the same university from 2010 to 2012. Finally, they continued their education at Åbo Akademi University from 2013 to 2020 and obtained their Doctor of Science (Technology) degree in Computer Engineering.
