Ronnie Surty has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Ronnie started their career as a Sales Officer at KISHCO CUTLERY LTD in 1981 and later moved on to work as a Sales Representative at CEARS INTERNATIONAL LTD. After that, they worked as a Sales Executive for TOWELL AUTO CENTRE - MAZDA Oman and Omasco - Honda Oman.
In 1992, Ronnie joined British American Tobacco, where they held various procurement and logistics management positions, including Regional Procurement Projects Manager, Head of Procurement for various regions, and Gulf Sales Trainer. Ronnie also served as the Area Manager for Oman, where they achieved high levels of performance in volume and profits.
From 2012 to 2013, Ronnie worked as a Corporate Management and Procurement Consultant for V R FZE. Ronnie then joined Awal Plastics W.L.L. in 2013 as the Group Chief Executive Officer. In this role, they focused on corporate governance, organizational strategy planning and implementation, change management, and business diversification, among other responsibilities.

Ronnie Surty completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology from the University of Mumbai between 1984 and 1987. Prior to that, they obtained their Secondary School Certification (SSC) from G.D. Somani Memorial School in Mumbai from 1977 to 1981.
