Chip Root

Chip Root serves as the Vice President of Technology at Awana ® since July 2017, previously holding roles such as Senior Director of Technology and Senior Manager of IT. In addition, Chip Root has been involved with Christian Youth Theater (CYT) since November 2014, providing theatrical skills instruction and directing performances for children aged 8-18. Prior experience includes serving as IT Field Services Regional Manager at Infor from October 2003 to July 2017, Manager of Partner Support Services at Northern Trust from July 2001 to October 2003, and Manager of IS Services/PC Network Specialist at Infinium Software from December 1996 to June 2001. Chip Root holds a B.A. in Communication & Theatre from St. Norbert College, completed in 1994.
