Thomas Thissen

Thomas Thissen currently serves as President and Owner of Award Staffing, where a commitment to connecting people with meaningful work drives leadership in the staffing industry. Additionally, Thomas holds the position of Executive Vice President at Apogee Workforce, focusing on developing straightforward solutions for workforce management. Thomas’s involvement with the Minnesota Recruiting and Staffing Association includes roles as Executive Advisor to the Board of Directors, President, Vice President, and Membership Chair. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Operations at Strom Engineering. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of St. Thomas and attended the University of Minnesota, following education at the Academy of Holy Angels.
