Artem Almazov

Artem Almazov has a diverse work experience in computer vision engineering. From 2021 to 2022, they worked at the University of Artificial Intelligence as a Junior Computer Vision Engineer. During this time, they focused on railroad and road lane detection and segmentation for crash prevention AI development. Artem also provided code review support for students, evaluated student projects, and assisted in writing teaching materials for deep learning and data science courses. Artem's achievements include creating a dataset of road lane and line segmentation using OpenCV algorithms and training neural networks for lane and line detection and car course auto-correction.

In 2022, Artem joined Mestory - a medical record and health control application company. As a Computer Vision Engineer, they were responsible for medical data recognition and extraction from user documents. Artem also developed, implemented, and updated the whole processing pipeline architecture and assessed preceding code. Artem's accomplishments at Mestory included creating and implementing a pipeline that facilitated rapid entry into the market of paid applications, increased customer numbers, and established cooperation with state-funded medical institutions. Artem developed the ability to work independently, design their own architectures, collaborate with the front-end, and understand customer needs.

Currently, Artem is employed at AwardWallet, LLC. as a Computer Vision Engineer. Artem'stasks involve extracting data from images, pdf, and html files and creating a system that clusters data by events. Artem studies editorials and implements them in code, while also evaluating previous developments.

Artem Almazov obtained a Bachelor's degree in Japanese Language and Literature from Saint Petersburg State University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In 2015, they also had the opportunity to further their understanding of Japanese Studies at Keio University for a year.
