Amulya Swamy has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Amulya began their career in 2007 as a Derivative Analyst at Deutsche Bank Operations International Pvt Ltd. Amulya then joined Northern Trust Bank as a Senior Derivative Pricing Analyst, where they were responsible for derivative pricing, cash flow forecasting, and managerial tasks. In 2009, Amulya transitioned to Northern Trust Corporation, taking on the role of Training Consultant/Technical Coordinator for Derivatives Pricing and Valuations. In this position, they oversaw daily pricing of derivative assets and ensured accuracy before releasing the net asset value.
Amulya then pursued an MBA degree from the University of Nottingham, specializing in finance and gaining knowledge in areas such as international finance and corporate finance. Following their studies, they returned to Northern Trust Corporation as a Team Lead for Derivatives Valuations Coding & Analytics. Their responsibilities included valuing various over-the-counter and exchange-traded derivatives using external vendors and internal systems.
In 2015, Amulya joined Link Fund Solutions as a Senior Portfolio Analyst, contributing their expertise in portfolio management. Two years later, they moved to First State Super, where they initially worked as an Investment Operations Analyst. Amulya then advanced to the role of Senior Analyst - Investment Control, overseeing investment operations and ensuring compliance.
Most recently, Amulya has been working at Aware Super as an Investment Analyst, contributing their analytical skills to assess investment opportunities. Throughout their career, they have gained hands-on experience in investment analysis, portfolio management, and derivative pricing.
Amulya Swamy completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and Finance from Mysore University from the year 2004 to 2007. They also obtained a Bachelor of Business Management degree in Finance from the same university during the same time period. Later, from 2012 to 2013, they pursued an MBA degree in Finance from the University of Nottingham.
