Suchi Liyanage

Suchi Liyanage has over 18 years of work experience, with expertise in technical business analysis, testing, and team leadership. They are currently employed as a Senior Technical Business Analyst at Aware Super since April 2021. Previously, they worked at nbn™ Australia from April 2017 to March 2021, where they led a high-performing team, managed project deliverables, and participated in testing activities. Before that, Suchi worked at SAI Global as a Test Lead from October 2016 to March 2017, where they developed test plans, collaborated with stakeholders, and executed testing activities. They also have experience as a Test and Business Analyst at GrainCorp from November 2014 to September 2016, where they designed test scenarios, implemented automated testing, and identified business opportunities for improvement. At Harvey Norman, they served as a Senior Test Analyst from June 2013 to October 2014, leading testing initiatives, formulating test scenarios, and implementing test data management approaches. Suchi's career started at Virtusa in 2003, where they worked as a Senior Test Lead/Test Manager for 10 years, leading a global quality team and managing multiple releases for Siemens e-commerce programs.

Suchi Liyanage pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from The Manchester Metropolitan University from 1999 to 2002. In addition to their academic achievements, they also obtained certification as a SAFe 4 Certified Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2018, and as an ISTQB Foundation from ANZTB in March 2014.
