Tom MacFadyen

Tom Macfadyen is currently an Associate Portfolio Manager in Private Equity at Aware Super, starting in November 2021. Prior to joining Aware Super, they worked at AGL Energy from February 2019 to November 2021, where they were involved in Corporate Development and M&A. Before that, they were at Macquarie Group from August 2011 to November 2018, holding roles such as Senior Vice President in Private Equity with a focus on Infrastructure and Real Assets, and Vice President in Corporate Strategy. Tom began their career at The Nous Group in April 2007 as a Senior Consultant, and stayed with the company until July 2011.

Tom Macfadyen attended the University of Melbourne from 2001 to 2006, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering (Hons 1). Additionally, during the same period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Melbourne.
