Ian Rice

Ian Rice is a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Hartford Investment Management Company (HIMCO), where Ian is part of a team that manages investments in alternative assets and makes direct private equity and mezzanine investments. Prior to joining HIMCO, Ian worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Vice President in the Special Credits Group/Special Investments Group, and at Veronis Suhler Stevenson as a Private Equity Professional. Ian also has experience working at Gleacher Mezzanine Partners and JPMorgan in various roles. Ian holds an MBA in International Finance and Strategy from INSEAD, as well as a A.B. degree in Government with Economics and German as Related Fields from Harvard University.
