Terry Riopka

Terry Riopka has a diverse range of work experience in the field of research. From 2004 to 2020, they worked at Aware, Inc. in various positions, including Vice President of Research and Director of Research. In these roles, they were responsible for leading research efforts and contributing to the development of facial analysis SDK, segmentation algorithms, and classifiers for fingerprint, slap, palm, and hand analysis. Prior to their time at Aware, Inc., Terry worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Lehigh University from 2002 to 2004.

Terry Riopka has a PhD in Computer Science from The George Washington University, a MA in Computer Science from the University of Rochester, and a MASc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
