David Anderson

David Anderson has had a diverse range of roles in finance throughout their career. David is currently working as the Finance Director at Away Resorts Ltd, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Finance Director at DNANUDGE from October 2021 to March 2023. Before that, they were the Global Head of FP&A at Global Fashion Group from September 2020 to October 2021. Additionally, they worked as the Finance Director at Spotahome from March 2020 to September 2020.

David has also gained significant experience during their time at TJX Europe, where they held the roles of Head of Finance - FP&A from April 2017 to March 2020 and Head of Finance - Ecommerce from July 2015 to March 2017. At TJX Europe, they focused on planning activities, expansion opportunities, competitor insight, and property portfolio management. David led a team, handled planning cycles, and worked on potential expansion opportunities. David also analyzed competitor announcements and retail market updates.

Earlier in their career, David worked at Tesco in various finance roles. From September 2012 to May 2015, they served as the Head of Finance - Blinkbox, a subsidiary of Tesco. David was responsible for internal and group FP&A, as well as identifying key risk areas. Prior to that, they served as Finance Manager / Head of Finance - Group Finance from August 2009 to August 2012, where they led long-term planning cycles and implemented projects to improve reporting. David also worked as a Finance Manager for Tesco Direct from October 2007 to July 2009.

Before joining Tesco, David worked at Home Retail Group PLC as a Retail Finance Manager from January 2004 to September 2007. In this role, they managed a team and was responsible for reporting and planning for over 300 stores. David also managed a store restructuring project. Additionally, they gained experience as a Management Accountant / Analyst at Blacks Leisure Group from January 2001 to December 2004.

David Anderson attended De Montfort University from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies. Following that, from 2001 to 2004, they pursued CIMA at ACMA, CGMA.
