Mark Baerenwald began their career as a Staff Auditor at EY from 1988 to 1990. Mark then joined Baker Hughes in 1990, where they held various Finance and Accounting positions, including roles as Controller for the Western Hemisphere, North America Region, and Hughes Christensen. Mark also served as Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for Products and Technology. From 2007 to 2014, they held several Vice President roles at Baker Hughes, leading teams and overseeing financial planning and analysis, project management, and integration aspects related to the Halliburton merger. In 2016 and 2017, they served as the Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis for the Completions Product Line at Baker Hughes. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as the Global Controller at Reservoir Group, where they implemented significant changes to processes and procedures, improved financial information, strengthened cash management, and assisted in business restructuring. Currently, Mark Baerenwald serves as the CFO at AWC Frac Technology starting in November 2021.

Mark Baerenwald attended the University of Houston from 1984 to 1987. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting and Tax.
