Robert Peters has extensive work experience in the field of research and development (R&D) in the sorting technology industry. Robert started their career at AWETA G&P in 2001 as the Director of R&D, where they focused on improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. In 2003, they became the Managing Director of AWETA G&P, taking on additional responsibilities for operations and R&D. During their time at AWETA G&P, they successfully synchronized operations and commerce and drove improvements in efficiency and cost effectiveness.
In 2009, Robert Peters transitioned to AWETA - World of Sorting Technology as the Group Director R&D and shareholder. In this role, they were responsible for R&D development and strategy across three companies located in the USA, Italy, and the Netherlands. Their main areas of focus included software development, machine vision, sensor development, and plant integration. Robert created and executed a strategic plan to increase the market share at a lower cost, emphasizing the integration of different product lines from the American, Italian, and Dutch branches into one portfolio.
Throughout their career, Robert Peters has demonstrated strong leadership and a strategic mindset in driving R&D initiatives and improving operational effectiveness in the sorting technology industry.
Robert Peters attended De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1989 to 1993, where they studied Technical Computer Science. Robert then enrolled in Delft University of Technology from 1994 to 1995 to study Image Processing. Later, from 1995 to 1997, they pursued Production Management at Open Universiteit.
