Rick Schmittgen

Rick Schmittgen has a diverse work experience beginning in 1988. Rick served as the DP Manager at Manoir Electroalloys from November 1988 to January 1994. Rick then worked as a Senior Consultant at Computer Associates / LDA Systems from February 1994 to January 2004. Following that, Rick joined Cuyahoga County and held two roles: Information Systems Analyst from February 2004 to January 2019, and Manager Database Administration from January 2019 to September 2021. Currently, Rick is employed as a Data Engineer at AWH since September 2021.

Rick Schmittgen completed a Bachelor's degree in Data Management and Data Analytics from Western Governors University from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they attended Oberlin College from 1983 to 1987, but the degree obtained and field of study are unspecified. In addition to their formal education, Rick has obtained multiple certifications, including a Data Analyst Nanodegree from Udacity in May 2021, CompTIA Project+ in January 2020, ITIL Foundation Level in December 2019, Oracle Database 12c Administrator Certified Associate in November 2019, Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate in September 2019, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt in July 2018, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt in April 2018, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt in February 2017, CompTIA A+ in March 2019, and CompTIA Network+ in March 2020.
