Irem Sorguc

Irem Sorguc has worked in various roles since 2011. Irem began their career as a Publicity Assistant at Istanbul Bilgi University in 2011. In 2014, they took on the role of Human Resources Intern at Demsa Group, where they supported the HR department and oversaw events for staff. In 2015, they became a Business Development and Communication Assistant at Muratbey Peynir. Since 2019, they have been the Purchasing Manager and Marketing Specialist at Awkward Styles. In their current role, they lead the purchasing strategy for the business, with a focus on reducing COGS while ensuring inventory availability. Irem also analyzes business data, oversees and administers contracting and procurement strategies and programs, and provides monthly purchase forecasts to suppliers and management.

Irem Sorguc completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) at Istanbul Bilgi University from 2011 to 2016. In 2015, they also completed an Extension Program at UC Irvine. Irem then went on to pursue a Master's degree at Southern States University from 2018 to 2020, with a field of study in Master of Business Administration. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Google in Google AdWords Fundamentals and Mobile Advertising in 2016, as well as a Brand Management certification from Istanbul Bilgi University in 2015.
