Kevin Bruhwiler has a strong background in software engineering and research. Kevin started their career as an Intern at the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration in 2016. Kevin then gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Rocket Software in 2017. Kevin later joined Colorado State University, where they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant. At Colorado State University, they focused on distributed systems, operating systems, and large-scale graph indexing and data visualization. Kevin also worked at RadiaSoft LLC as a Software Engineer, collaborating with scientists at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and software developers at Nvidia on a project involving neutron scattering data visualization. This project received a $1,000,000 phase II SBIR proposal for further development. Additionally, Kevin had a PhD internship at TikTok, where they gained industry experience. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at AWM since May 2023.

Kevin Bruhwiler earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from Colorado State University, where they studied from 2015 to 2020. Continuing on with their academic pursuits, Kevin is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science at UC Irvine, where they have been enrolled since 2021 and is expected to complete their studies in 2023.
