Mariana Pozas

Mariana Pozas has held various roles in the business sector since 2003. Mariana began their career as a Marketing Executive at Canal Rural Produções in 2003. In 2007, they moved to Fitesa as a Sales specialist for International and Domestic Market. In 2014, they accepted a role as an MBA Executive Professor at Decision FGV. In 2015, they became the Co-Founder & Marketing Manager at Bthere International Business. Currently, they work at AWM Smart Shelf as a BI Data Engineer and Data Analyst. In their role as Data Analyst, they develop data frameworks, performs data analysis and interpretation of trends or patterns in data using SQL, and develops data visualizations with the business intelligence tool Power BI. Mariana also assists other Data Team members in day to day operations and communications with Development, Support, Marketing, and Sales Teams.

Mariana Pozas has a Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, obtained between 1993 and 1999. Mariana then completed a Master's Degree in Business Administration with Emphasis in Technology and Production Management from the same university between 2008 and 2010. In 2003, Mariana obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing in the field of Marketing. In 2002, they completed an Extension Course in Project Management from UC San Diego. In 2018, Mariana attended UC Irvine for Data Science / Predictive Analytics / Digital Marketing, Business English for Marketing, Negotiation, Presentation Skills and Business English for Finance, Leadership, Presentation Skills. Additionally, Mariana has a GlobeSmart Profile Certification from Aperian Global, obtained in July 2016, and a Seminário como Ingressar no Mercado Norte Americano certification from the Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida, Inc. (BACCF), obtained in September 2008.
